Why Saltbox
Saltboxes were used to store salt, but enterprising musicians in the middle ages also used them to great effect as musical instruments.
At Saltbox we also find new solutions to old problems.
Our fresh approach opens people’s minds to new ways of working, and uses simple techniques to create a big impact.
Whether it’s improving teamwork through singing together, agreeing a shared vision by creating a collage, reducing stress through learning relaxation techniques, or increasing motivation by surviving the great outdoors, we really make a difference to how people work.
The arts, complementary therapies, and the natural world all provide inspiration for our approach, and the positive feedback from our customers assures us it works.
At Saltbox we believe that we all perform best when our mind is free, our body relaxed, and our creative potential unlocked.
We apply the following principles to all our work:
- Everyone’s wellbeing is fundamental to their performance
- People who feel positive and valued are motivated to achieve their own or their employer’s aims
- Everyone can learn and grow from new ideas and experiences
- Everyone is creative and inventive but may need help to unearth these qualities
- We all learn most when training is fun, colourful, lively and participative
At Saltbox we pride ourselves on providing top quality, professional services with a humour and warmth which keeps our customers coming back for more.
We always:
- Have a friendly, positive, open-minded approach
- Listen carefully to find out what our customers really need and work out the best way to help them
- Provide services which have a real impact
- Do what we say we will do
- Remain flexible and easy to work with
- Act with integrity and honesty
- Listen to what people say about our services and take feedback on board.
We never make commitments we can’t keep or provide a service unless we are confident we can do it really well.
"Saltbox's work on our Management Development Programme transformed what might otherwise have been a dry subject into a challenging, interactive, energising, and thoroughly memorable course."
