Mindful Leadership with Eva Ruijgrok-Lupton from Everyday Mindfulness
We are all leaders: at work, at home, or simply by leading our lives. And in these increasingly Volatile Uncertain Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) times, it is imperative that we are able to respond as flexible, resilient and collaborative leaders to the manifold challenges we meet. Mindfulness provides a compelling approach to developing these essential leadership qualities, through honing our abilities to be aware in the present with an open mind. In this interactive session we will explore a range of Mindfulness exercises and see how they can support your leadership capacity, all with a sprinkling of Christmas cheer!
Finding your Purpose with Nicki Davey, Director of Saltbox Training & Events Ltd.
Having purpose or meaning is essential for a happy and successful life. People with a strong sense of purpose have better physical and mental health, are more resilient, better able to deal with stress, have greater self-esteem and self-confidence, and show increased cognitive functioning and memory. But it can be a challenge to define our purpose, or identify what gives us meaning in life. In this workshop, Nicki will use a simple storytelling technique to help you to determine what your purpose is. Through telling and understanding your own story, you'll gain clarity about what is important to you and identify some key actions for 2018 to help you focus on this, so that you can enter the new year with purpose and intent.
Being Brave with Lynda Holt, Director of Bravescene
Lynda will guide us through her process for being brave in either running our business or designing and delivering our training. More details soon - watch this space....
