Our next event
Our next event is on Friday 28th September from 10am to 4pm. Workshops will include:
Embodied Learning with David Dodd from Awareness and Change
Embodied learning means embracing new behaviours and patterns of doing, and over time shifting to a new way of being. As an empowerment coach and yoga teacher, David has a deep experience of facilitating lasting learning and change – a journey which takes focus and time. In this session we’ll play with a few exercises and explore a simple model, giving you an introduction to embodied learning and some accessible tools to incorporate into your work.
Learning with Metalog with Steve Creffield from Evolve Integral
Metalog Tools are designed to trigger whole mind-body-head-heart engagement and learning, generate focused group working, and provide a living metaphor that can be explored from multiple angles. Steve will share his experience of using Metalog tools, introduce some of the activities, and explore how they might support our practice as trainers, facilitators and managers. Be prepared to get involved, have fun, and learn along the way as you try out some of the tools and explore how they might be used in your own work or organisation.
Creating a Thinking Environment ® with Sharon Collier from The Leadership School
The work of Nancy Kline in creating a Thinking Environment ®is world renowned and has been integrated into fields such as coaching, workshop facilitation, presentation delivery, conflict management and as an approach to holding effective meetings. Nancy describes “everything we do begins with our thinking. If our thinking is good, our decisions are good, our actions are good, our outcomes are good”. So what does it take for us to be able to think quality thoughts for ourselves and how can we replicate this when working with our clients? In this practical and interactive session we will play with a couple of different applications and explore what it takes to create a Thinking Environment®
