Our next event is on Friday 21st December from 10am to 4pm. There will be a festive feel to the day, and workshops will include:
Creating Engaging Webinars with Ginette Tessier from Get That Course Online
If you’ve ever wondered how some people manage to deliver webinars that attendees rave about and can’t wait to recommend to their friends, and yet others make watching paint dry seem like an extreme adrenaline sport, then this session is for you. Discover the secrets of creating webinars that amaze, astound and other things beginning with ‘a’ with Ginette Tessier, trainer of trainers for delivering digitally and conquering online courses. Explore the key ways to keep delegates engaged and put together your own handy memory-jogger for remembering the most important parts about what your content and delivery needs, for your next webinar to be more fizzy than a bottle of Prosecco on a trampoline.
Appreciative Inquiry with Jane Ginnever from Shift
The end of the year is always a good opportunity to reflect on the way we’ve done things in the past and how we’ll build on our strengths in the new year. It seems a good time then for Jane to share her approach to Appreciative Inquiry. Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is an approach to organisational change that builds on the strengths of the organisation and the people within it, and engages everyone with envisioning and designing change. The principles can also be used to develop new ways of working and learning together. Jane will share her experience of using AI and introduce the 4D cycle. There will also be the opportunity for us to try out some of the aspects of this very different approach to working in organisations and explore how we might use them in our own work as trainers, facilitators and leaders.
The Advent of Learning with Nicki Davey from Saltbox
What do you want to find when you open the doors on an advent calendar? Pictures of festive scenes? Chocolate? How about opening the doors to discover lots of tools, techniques, materials and services that you can use in 2019 to help you to be even better at your job? Whether its techniques to make your training really special, tools to help people learn, or services to help you manage learning and development more effectively, you’ll take away at least 24 great recommendations that you can go away and use straight away, and you’ll also get to share your own recommendations with others.
Join us at our December event for a decidedly festive day!
