Nature as Teacher
How to design and facilitate Nature-based and Nature-inspired learning
Are you a facilitator, trainer, coach or teacher who wants to use nature-based or nature-inspired approaches to help people to learn and grow?
Or maybe you’re already incorporating Nature into your work and are seeking further ideas, inspiration, confidence, and support for your own journey?
This exciting new experiential course will give you inspiration, skills, techniques and the confidence to work hand in hand with Nature when facilitating learning, personal growth, or team/organisational development.

Combining two online workshops with two days in remote rural Scotland, you'll get “up close and personal” with Nature and experience how she impacts on our ability to learn, draw inspiration from the elements and from Nature’s stories and principles, and try out a range of tools and techniques that you can easily adapt and apply in your own work. You’ll also explore the many ways that you can bring Nature’s power and wisdom into your work for when it's not possible to actually facilitate in Nature.

You’ll gain:

-
A solid understanding of the benefits of Nature-based and Nature-inspired learning
-
The confidence to incorporate Nature’s wisdom into your own work.
-
Practical skills and techniques to help your participants to find and embrace the Nature within themselves, to feel a part of the Nature around them, and to be guided by Nature’s wisdom.
-
The ability to create deep, transformational learning though helping people engage with the natural world and giving them permission to listen to and trust their instincts, their inner voice and their deepest knowing.
-
The ability to seek metaphors and meaning in Nature that will help your participants to make sense of complex ideas and express their ideas and views more easily.
-
A clear commitment and plan for developing your own Nature-based and Nature-inspired practice.

This course is for you if you're a facilitator, trainer, coach,or teacher who wants to:

-
bring Nature into your work
-
become more confident about working with Nature as teacher
-

The course is also suitable for you if you're the leader of a group, team, organisation, community or movement and you want to make Nature the primary teacher for yourself and and those you lead, although you'll need to already have some basic facilitation skills and experience.
